Herbie, Scooby-Doo's van... Hollywood cars up for sale...

Scooby-Doo's Mystery Machine, Herbie and Indiana Jones' truck up for grabs as Hollywood cars are auctioned off to fans

Last updated at 3:52 AM on 8th May 2011
With some covered in dents and rust, others barely roadworthy or driven at break-neck speed in perilous conditions, these vehicles might not sell in a normal auction.
But they are no ordinary cars -  for while they might not have made it onto the credits, these vehicles had starring roles in Hollywood movies.
Now fans can own a piece of transport history, with an auction of dozens of vehicles made famous by their roles on the big screen.

  1. I wonder how much the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine would fetch in the online auction. The lucky owner of that iconic vehicle can then go on to look for ghosts and ghouls with their friends, just like in the original cartoon! That would be awesome!

  2. I am a car fanatic enthusiast, and I never miss any movie about cars. The General Lee is one of the most memorable Hollywood cars because of the death-defying stunts it used to do in its films! And what I loved about the Fast and the Furious series is its high-speed chases! Sometimes, you will just find yourself out of breath after watching some of the scenes!
