In a season of bright lights and garish colours, one family stands out from all the rest.
The Bousfield clan's Christmas tradition of wearing grandmother Norma's hand-knitted jumpers continues this year, but with an added threat.
Mrs Bousfield, 75, said: 'We have a family tradition of getting together on Christmas Eve to have a big meal and unwrap our presents.

'And it's an unspoken rule now that you're not allowed in unless you're wearing a wacky jumper made by me.'

Norma, from Llantwit Fardre in South Wales, spent a year knitting the brightly coloured woollies.

She set herself the daunting task after grandson Andrew, 24, requested a gaudy sweater to impress friends at the local rugby club.
Mrs Bousfield said: 'It went down a storm with his friends. They were so jealous, one lad got out his wallet and offered him £50 for it there and then.
'But Andrew told them straight, his nan had made it especially for him, and it wasn't for sale.
'Then I hit on the idea of making jumpers for the whole family.
'It was a real labour of love and it never felt like hard work because I knew every stitch was for someone special.'
The jumpers were knitted for daughters Karen, 52, and Wendy, 50, their husbands Ray and Brian, and granddaughters Jenna, 14, and Sarah-Jen, 21.
And she kitted out husband Henry, 78, in a dazzling creation of blue, white, yellow, red and purple.
'They all picked their own colours and every design is 100 per cent unique, no two are the same,' she said.
'Our Christmas dinners are always full of colour now. I've told the grandchildren they're welcome to bring boyfriends and girlfriends - but not without a jumper.
'They only have to say the word and I'll get knitting.'
