An irate cyclist has pictured himself crashing into obstacles in bike lanes in protest at being hit with a fine.
Casey Neistat, 29, smashed into a police car, taxi, truck and roadworks in New York after he was handed a £33 ticket for riding outside a cycle lane.
He decided to stick rigidly to the letter of the law by staying within the lines and deliberately rode into every obstacle to show how dangerous cycling can be.

Mr Neistat has become a YouTube sensation with more than 700,000 hits in just two days after getting a friend to video his hour-long journey across Manhattan.
During the footage, he said: 'The bicycle lane is not the safest place to be.
'Ticket the people blocking the lanes, not the cyclists.
'They look much more dramatic than they were - the falls. Everything we found, I crashed into. I refused to leave the bike lane.
'I don't feel like the bike lanes are really respected yet.'

But the film-maker said the original aim behind the footage was comedy.
He told the Huffington Post: 'My number one motivation to make this movie was to be funny.
'I’m not trying to rise up against the man. I'm just trying to make a funny movie.'
