The exhibition is the idea of Mary Hurrell, 28, whose work will go on display this Friday at the College's new Battersea campus.
Posing up: One of the 30 models lies naked on the 12ft high shelf installed at the Royal College of Art's new Battersea campus
My creation: Artist Mary Hurrell said she wanted the work to be viewed as an installation of choreographed objects
She interviewed 30 dancers to take part in the exhibition, with a team chosen to take it turns to lie on the shelf.
The artist chose to use dancers because she said that she wanted her work to be viewed as a collection of choreographed objects.
Hurrell told the Evening Standard: 'I was interested in the idea that you might walk into the space and not notice somebody was there, but that there would be the presence of a body hovering above the space.'
