A Top Chef star has managed a rare feat: making a $100 burger look like a bargain.
Chef Hubert Keller has created a $5,000 burger for a Las Vegas restaurant.
Mr Keller put the ultimate burger for high rollers on the menu at Mandalay Bay's Fleur restaurant.

He created it to top a rival chef selling a $100 truffle burger. No prizes for guessing which insanely expensive gastronomic treat becomes more popular.
Mr Keller's burger is Kobe beef topped with foie gras and black truffle on a brioche truffle bun - with truffle sauce.
Truffle, it seems, is the secret ingredient that sends burger prices soaring.
The burger is served with a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1995, which was already on the restaurant's wine list - priced at $5,300.
Mr Keller, who stars on the hit U.S. TV show, said: 'It's a bargain!'
Diners who order the burger meal get a certificate of authenticity - and Mr Keller says he does not mind if they put ketchup on his gourmet dish.
