In most children’s imaginations their back gardens are a magical kingdom where they meet all kinds of characters.
But the children of a Florida family no longer need to dream, after their back yard was transformed with a Disney makeover worthy of a theme park.
Tommy and Angie Bradburn, who spent many childhood vacations at Disney parks wanted to share their passion with their children.
Magical kingdom: The next door house of the Bradburn's grandmother was transformed with an eight foot tall sorcerer's hat
A hand-powered train waits at Grandma's Station for the children whose empty backyard was transformed with a railroad track that connects their yard to their grandmother's house next door
They along with the children's grandmother, who lives next door, opened their back yards to a television show for a Disney-inspired makeover.
While the children enjoyed the parks with their grandmother, Jan, the programme’s design team installed a 200-foot long Disney Magic Kingdom-inspired train that runs between the two yards.
A Tinkerbell-themed design, complete with an oversized teapot, was installed in the Bradburn's backyard.
Next door, the grandmother’s outdoor space is equipped with an 8-foot tall sorcerer's hat.
Hideout: A giant purple tea pot turned on its side is the perfect den for the couple's daughter Maddie
Playing around: Inside the giant white birdcage is a swing that's big enough for the whole Bradburn family to enjoy
The show, ‘My Yard Goes Disney’, premieres on HGTV at 8pm on June 6.
Other episodes of the series feature a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired makeover complete with a pirate ship, water cannons and a water battle station.
Makeovers also include a Disney's Animal Kingdom-themed design with thatched-roof tree houses, a replica of a safari Jeep and a handcrafted fire pit.
Station manager Kathleen Fince said: ‘Disney and HGTV are teaming up to transform backyards into the ultimate family hang-out spot.
‘This series features spectacular fantasy makeovers that only the Disney team could imagine and HGTV could pull off.’
Play space: Toadstalls are used for tables and chairs in the garden, which has sunflowers with photos of the family
Makeover: The gardens were transformed for a new television series
