Coffee shop offers free iPads instead of newspapers
A Croatian coffee shop has ditched newspapers for their customers, instead offering free use of iPads.
Free newspapers are usually offered in coffee shops in Croatia's tourist areas.
But the owners of The Box coffee shop in Split, decided to offer a more modern experience.
Josko Palada, the shop owner, said: "We're a modern coffee shop and iPads are the way forward for newspapers.
"Our clients would much rather scroll through an online edition than mess about with all that paper."
The iPads have special security devices that trigger an alarm if they are moved more than a metre from a table at the The Box.
