Just popping to the loo: Driver ploughs car through pub wall into the gents' toilet

Perhaps the driver of this blue Seat Leon was just really desperate to get to the loo.

But even so, driving right through a wall into the gents' toilets is a somewhat extreme way of getting there.

That's certainly what the guests and owners of Wrexham pub The Gredington Arms thought when they heard an almighty bang in the side of the building.

The five occupants of the car were lucky enough to escape serious injury in the crash.

However, the same cannot be said for the car or the pub itself.

The former was embedded in the wall, its bonnet crumpled and doors hanging open while the latter now has a huge gaping hole in it - not ideal as summer becomes autumn.

The passengers of the vehicle are thought to be in their teens or early 20s and the only injury reported was one suspected fractured wrist.
